We’re looking for an experienced Finance Officer to join our busy Finance team. Reporting to our Finance Manager, you’ll bring a combination of skills, qualities and experiences including:
- Customer service skills – use excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with customers and colleagues politely and professionally
- Sound knowledge of UK financial regulations and accounting principles – including HMRC guidance and fundraising codes of practice
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation –with excellent attention to detail
- Preparation of financial statements and reports – to assist with budget development, management and decision making
- Management of day to day financial operations – particularly invoicing, bank reconciliations and credit control activity, and ideally experience of working in a charity or Not For Profit organisation
- Adaptability – able to prioritise multiple activities to ensure key deadlines are met, whilst remaining focused on longer term plans/objectives
- Ethical conduct – demonstrating tenacity and integrity at all times, ensuring compliance with company financial procedures
