This 2 hour session uses well recognised knowledge and research to underpin practical approaches to supporting children and young people’s emotional health and wellbeing.
We will explore:
- The adolescent brain
- How anxiety looks, feels and sounds
- Why – understanding and managing anxiety
- Recognising, allowing and validating emotion
- How we can help – the skills of resilience
We will look at strategies and approaches to share with children and young people in Key Stages 3 and 4.
