Salary: £22,727 to £29,855.00 per annum pro rata

OVERVIEW

As a Steel Pan Teacher, you will play an essential role in shaping the talents and musical aspirations of our students. This position is more than just teaching techniques; it’s about igniting a passion for music and helping students discover the rich, vibrant world of a traditional cultural instrument. You will be instrumental in nurturing their abilities, pushing their limits, and guiding them through an enriching educational journey.

We are interested in candidates with experience in the following areas:

· Small Group/1:1 teaching (all ages up to 18)

· Whole Class Instrumental Teaching

· Ensemble direction (beginner through to advanced)

· Experience of working with children with additional needs (mainstream and special schools)

· Strong knowledge of music repertoire and assessment systems (beginner to advanced)
