This term examinations will be held on Monday 8th, Tuesday 9th, Wednesday 10th, Thursday 11th and Friday 12th July 2024 at Services For Education, Unit 3 Holt Court, Holt Street, Birmingham Science Park, Aston, Birmingham, B74AX.

Fees subsidised by SFE for our accompanists are below:

Grades Initial – 4: Exam day rehearsal and performance – £15

Grades 5 – 8: Additional rehearsal before exam day, exam day rehearsal and performance – £20

The rehearsal days for this session will be on Saturday 22nd June (Sunday 23rd June back up day) at Services for Education, Unit 3, Holt Court, Aston Science Park, B7 4AX (individual rehearsal times to be arranged).

ABRSM is piloting an Exam Discount Scheme designed to ease some of the financial barriers that families can face in accessing exams. Pupils who meet the criteria below can receive 95% off their exam fee:

Students who are eligible for Free School Meals
Looked After Children
Pupil Premium children
Students in schools or areas where there has been very low exam uptake
Students who have not chosen to present for exam previously because of cost
Other reasons, such as the financial impact of sudden loss of employment or family break-up

Services For Education will make the final decision on suitability and contact any unsuccessful applicants to arrange payment of the full fee.

Once exam appointments have been issued we will be unable to make any changes. Once an entry and payment have been submitted, the exam fees are generally non-refundable if the Candidate does not sit the exam, except in the limited circumstances set out in the ABRSM’s Policy for Withdrawals, Non-Attendance and Fee Refunds (available at www.abrsm.org/policies). *
I understand that my child’s application will not be accepted unless I/their teacher emails the piano parts for the music being played in the exam by Sunday 19th May 2024 to music-exams@servicesforeducation.co.uk. *
