This year examinations will be recorded on Thursday 10th July and Friday 11th July at Services For Education, Unit 3, Holt Court, Holt Street, Birmingham Science Park Aston, Birmingham B7 4AX.

The ABRSM exam board set their fees annually. This fee does not include the cost of an accompanist (pianist) to play for the students and this is a compulsory part of the exam for many instruments. Fees subsidised by SFE for our accompanists are below:

Grades Initial – 4: Exam day rehearsal and performance – £15

Grades 5 – 8: Additional rehearsal before exam day, exam day rehearsal and performance – £20

The rehearsal day for candidates taking grades 5 – 8 and using our accompanist offer, will be on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June at Services for Education, Unit 3, Holt Court, Aston Science Park, B7 4AX (individual rehearsal times to be arranged).

NB* Please email piano accompaniments to music-exams@servicesforeducation.co.uk when entering for all digital examinations. Applications will be refunded if these are not received before the Thursday after the deadline.

I understand that the purpose of this video-recording is the examination of the assessment by The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM). I confirm that the copyright of the video-recording of ABRSM Performance Grades passes to ABRSM. Once exam appointments have been issued we will be unable to make any changes. Once an entry and payment have been submitted, the exam fees are generally non-refundable if the Candidate does not sit the exam, except in the limited circumstances set out in the ABRSM’s Policy for Withdrawals, Non-Attendance and Fee Refunds (available at www.abrsm.org/policies). *
