As the Hub Lead Organisation (HLO) Services For Education leads the Birmingham Music Education Hub (BMEH) which plays a critical role in fulfilling the vision and goals as set out in the 2022 National Plan for Music Education (NPME) The power of music to change lives.

To achieve this, HLOs have been awarded a ring-fenced capital grant, which is funding to increase the volume, range, relevance and accessibility of musical instruments, equipment and technology in the Hub area. We are, therefore, offering all schools in Birmingham the opportunity to request one set of musical instruments per school to support music within Birmingham Schools. To apply for your free set of instruments, please choose from one of the options below.

If you order before the 11th May our suppliers should be able to deliver your chosen set of musical instruments by the start of the new academic year. Orders placed after the 11th May are less likely to be delivered before September 2025.
