Trinity Music Digital Grade Exam
Price range: £49.00 through £140.00
Digital exams are assessed from a video recording submitted by the students.
Students are encouraged to record their exam in an environment that suits them, such as at home or at school, as this often helps them feel more comfortable and perform at their best. For this term only, we will offer access to a recording session with a live accompanist, where no suitable alternative is available. This session will take place on:
Date: Saturday, 11 July 2026
Venue: Services For Education, Unit 3, Holt Court, Holt Street, Birmingham Science Park Aston, Birmingham B7 4AX
Where applicable, the following accompanist fees will apply:
Initial Grade – Grade 4: £15
Grade 5 – Grade 8: £20
Detailed guidance on how to record and upload the video to us will be sent to parents and teachers once the booking has been received.
The Trinity exam board sets their fees annually. Please note that this fee does not include the cost of an accompanist, which is a compulsory part of the exam for many instruments.
From September 2023, Trinity no longer provides paper certificates. Successful candidates will receive digital copies of both their certificate and examiner comments.
Deadline for receipt of entries: Sunday, 28 June 2026
Deadline for video submission: Sunday, 12 July 2026
