Description

As experienced moderators, we often see Year 6 teachers in June who would have approached teaching their writing lessons differently if they had had a clearer understanding of the TAF and independence requirements. Join Emma Mudge in a one-hour webinar that demystifies the ‘pupil can’ statements and explores how we can plan for our pupils to meet them.

Emma will support Year 6 teachers with the practicalities of implementing effective planning, ensuring pupils write to their full potential while building a robust, compliant evidence base for moderation.

During this 1-hour webinar, you will:

  • Explore KS2 TAF “Pupil Can” Statements: Develop an accurate, in-depth understanding of assessment criteria to guide daily teaching.
  • Gain Practical Classroom Application: Discuss ways in which these can be met within the classroom.
  • Identify Independent Writing Requirements: Discove what constitutes independent writing and analyse how your planned writing activities affect pupil independence and moderation outcomes.
