Primary Relationships Education Policy and Practice

At Services For Education, we provide a wide range of bespoke in-school courses and support.

These sessions will be run by a PSHE and Relationships Education specialist and can cover basic awareness of the content of the new Statutory Relationships Education guidance, curriculum review and development, and also specific issues, topics, advice on pedagogy and how to best engage with parents and wider school community.

Our experienced Advisers would be happy to work with you and your staff to secure your understanding of the expectations related to the new, statutory Relationships Education in Primary Schools, curriculum development, and support staff in becoming confident and competent deliverers of RSE.

We can work with you to ascertain where your pupils, staff and parents are currently, and provide information for next steps as appropriate, integrating statutory guidance requirements and acknowledged leading practice.

Schools can identify topics which are of relevance to them due to high prevalence in their local area or where staff lack confidence and training. This approach is bespoke to each setting’s individual need and we can support small or whole staff groups develop skills and understanding to deliver effective RSE.
