Description

We know how vital it is that we record all reasonable adjustments put in place for pupils with additional needs. Asking classroom staff to do this on top of their teaching role can create more work and equally, if we are not careful, we can end up with scrappy notes or mismatched records with differing amounts of detail that take time to collate and use when needed.

Consistent use of the same format means information is clear for all pupils and contains the necessary level of detail. This makes it simple to pull the information together for a report or referral; another important tool for busy SENCOs.
